CURRENT PROJECTS

Through professional liaisons and negotiations with key stakeholders relevant to private psychology practice. IPPP membership supports the work undertaken on behalf of the profession that is vital to sustaining viable private practice.  

IPPP current projects include the following:

1. Negotiating Psycho-legal Schedule and Recommendations
2. Continuing Professional Education Programme
3. Extending the agreed Best Practice Guidelines or Competencies
4. Federal liaison and lobbying on issues such as Medicare and Competency
5. Collecting data to support a decrease in RTWSA premiums in South Australia
6. A series of studies to provide empirical evidence concerning the efficacy of the competencies developed by the IPPP
7. Liaison with government and private industry bodies
